Our guest for this episode is Aharon Keshales, a writer, director and producer from Israel. Back in 2013 Quentin Tarantino said Aharon’s film Big Bad Wolves (2013) was his pick for movie of the year. Not bad going.

Aharon’s latest film, South of Heaven (2021) stars Jason Sudeikis, who plays a convicted felon who gets early parole after serving twelve years for armed robbery. Upon his release, he vows to give his love, the dying Annie (played by Evangeline Lilly), the best last year of her life – unfortunately it’s not that simple.
